Paul, Mr. B and I drove out to Utah for the 25th. We stayed with Darcy and family for about a week. I was worried about the weather and if we would have to drive in the snow but it worked out great. I guess I was over worried about it as I'm sure Paul wouldn't have any problem but I'm still glad we didn't have to!!

The Wearing Christmas Tree
Kody and Mommy making cookies for Santa Claus. Now this is the picture that really shows the fact that this is a boy. He loved all parts of cookie making but once Mom got out the Power Tools that is when he really got excited!!
Santa's Helper.
Jessy and Darcy also made cookies.
On Christmas eve soon after Darcy and I got back from the store and were settled into the house it started to snow. I thought it was perfect timing. It snowed all night and it was beautiful when we woke up on Christmas morning.
Here we were all dressed in thermals and overcoats and up drives the mailman. He was in short shelves!! I guess you do get use to it!!
Here we are at Christmas Eve dinner which in the Wearing house is the Big Dinner. Turkey and Tofurky with all the trimmings again. Writing about it is making me want it again!!
Unwrapping the first present on Christmas Eve. One on Christmas eve (which this year was new PJ's for everyone) and then the rest in the morning after Santa comes.
Looking down the street and in the distance is the Salt Lake with the mountains covered with snow on Antelope Island.
Here is Mr B having a great time in the snow. This was just seconds before I slipped and fell down! Oh yes, that was lots and lots of fun.
We had a great time there and I will be writing more on the Utah trip in part 3.
