Xmas 2005

It has been so long since I did anything on any of my blogs!! I hope to get something done tonight and then to keep it up better than I have been!

Xmas 2005 was wonderful for me. I hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did. First off I pushed to have everyone come here this year instead of us going out to Mesa and having the boys at a different time. I don't know why it was so important to me this year but I really wanted to have all three of my kids together. We were all together for Steve & Lisa's wedding but of course everyone was so busy it wasn't the same.
On the 25th Paul and I had Ron and Dad up for about the only thing I cook anymore, vegetable soup. Ron was down visiting for a week. It was really good to see him. I miss not having him closer but I'm glad he makes it down here as often as he can.
On the 26th & 27th Paul and I headed down to Dana Point for some birding and relaxing. We had a great time and hopefully I'll get the Plymouth Garden Birds blog updated with info on that trip.
On the 3oth about 10a.m. Darcy and Scott arrived. Jessy and Kody had already made the trip out here with their other grandparents so D & S had a very peaceful and fast trip out. We spent the day hanging out and getting ready for Saturday. You can see what Darcy did soon after she got here!

On the 30th everyone, Steve & Lisa, Jim & Tammy & my dad along with Paul and myself and Darcy, Scott, Jessy and Kody came over for dinner and presents. Paul made a ham and I made a tufokey. That is the first time I have made one and I thought it was great. Then what do I know? Everything was going along fine with the dinner fixing until I checked the oven and figured out it wasn't working right!! This was after we had everything in it for over an hour. The dial doesn't always move the way it should so it was only set on 200degrees instead of the 375 we wanted. Oh well, a little panic but everything worked out okay.
After dinner presents that I think everyone really liked. I know I did!! Here is a picture of the two boys looking at Jim's present, a map of California.

Lisa & Steve in his new beard.

Jim and Tammy with Jessy

While Jessy was here she played a lot of Playstation games. There is one racing one where you make points by making as many cars crash as you can. The game just drives me crazy!! I have to walk away from it!! Here she is when she wasn't playing the games.

Kody was just wonderful as always. I know he is my grandson as he loves tangerines!! He was eating as many as I was and I can eat a lot!! Here are a few pictures of him.

One last picture of Great-Grandpa and Great-grandson, 86 years old and almost 3 years old.

Thank you everyone for making a wonderful holiday!!!! I love you all.
